The Haunting Masquerade

Experimenting with colonial spaces and African mythological iconography and narratives. The juxtaposing of different ideologies is intriguing as these are some of the conversations about my Nigerian and British heritage. Both aspects are important to the person I am today.

I am a child of both cultures and have learnt to accept my hybrid existence.

Exploring darker themes of cultural aesthetics...through the Orisha Osanyin (forest, plants and medicinal deity).
