Caren McCaleb is an Emmy winning documentary editor by day and an artist by night. Her black and white paintings come from a multi-step process that relies on chance and intuition at each stage. She is inspired by a vivid sense of the ethereal; the realm just beyond ordinary senses. Her technical process involves both photography and painting, which is fitting as the subject veers between the real and the imaginary.
